Timothy Beittel, MD

 

Dr. Timothy Beittel graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College in 1992 with a BA degree, received his MD with honors from the University of Rochester in 1996, and completed a Family Medicine residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC, before moving to NC to start practicing in 1999.

 

​He is Board Certified in Family Medicine, with additional certifications as a Post-Acute/Long-Term Care Medical Director (CMD), Hospice Medical Director (HMDC) and Physician Executive (CPE). Since 2005 he has worked exclusively in geriatrics and long-term care, leading several state-wide groups before opening his current mobile practice, Wellcare Services, to continue the tradition of providing quality on-site care to residents and facilities when and where they need it.
